I put up one of my favourite penguin pictures for critique on the T189 May discussion forum and a few pointers were thrown my way, all of which I had not noticed, least of all the wonky horizon.
This is the original picture and the suggestions were to tone down the brightness and straighten the horizon.
Using Photoshop Elements, I hope I achieved a decent result...

I like how you straightened up the horizon, but I still prefer the first shot. It gives a dreamy quality and the blackness of the penguins stands out more.
